Refund Policy

Subscriptions

Cancel anytime from your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew. If a renewal charged you when you meant to cancel, email support@visualnovelai.com within 14 days; if you haven't played since it renewed, we'll refund it.

Top-ups: 14 days

You can get a refund for an unused top-up within 14 days of buying it. Email support@visualnovelai.com from your account's email address with the date of the purchase. If you've used some of it, the refund is prorated. Refunds go to your original payment method and usually show up within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

What can't be refunded

• Usage you've already spent.
• Part of a subscription period, except as above.
• Purchases on accounts closed for breaking the Terms, unless the law requires a refund.

Failed generations

If a new expression or other generation fails, the usage it took is returned to your top-up automatically. No need to ask.

Account deletion and shutdown

Deleting your account cancels your subscription right away and deletes unused top-ups, so ask for any refund first. If we close your account when you haven't broken the Terms, or shut down Visual Novel AI, we'll refund unused top-ups and the unused part of your subscription.

Chargebacks

Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank; it's faster. Accounts with an open chargeback may be paused until it's resolved.

Your rights

Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.
